Covid 19

Latest update regarding The Positive Health Therapy Centre.
So what does the latest government announcement mean for the The Positive Health Therapy Centre?
We are looking at:
  • Osteopathy to continue as before, adhering to the stricest hygiene protocols.
  • April 12: Close contact therapies to return, to include 1-2-1 Pilates. We welcome back all therapies to our PHTC family!
  • May 17: Little bit later for our Pilates and Yoga classes to safely return.
  • All lockdown measures potentially ended on 21 June.

Based on data not dates, all dates given are subject to change if the data changes dramatically toward the negative.

In summary a little more time still left to go, but some goals to aim for and believe me our PHTC family is worth the wait!
We at The PHTC cannot thank you all enough for your unwaivering support, understanding and patience.
We cannot express in words how excited we are to be able to, so very soon, welcome you all back to The Positive Health Therapy Centre again.
"Together is our favourite place to be."
Please, should you need us, reach out via our social medias, website or emails.

Positive Life, Positive Thinking, Positive Health

What protocols have we put in place to protect you and our team?

  • The implementation of a mask rule when entering and throughout the building.
  • Using a bleach based detergent or 70% alcohol sanisitser/wipes for all hard surfaces with disposable cloths and cleaning down all hard surfaces between every appointment.
  • All therapists in relevant PPE, to include gloves, aprons, masks and eye protection.
  • Non touch bins are in all areas, minimisng the need for unnecessary contact.
  • A change to plastic couch covers, wipeable non-fabric pillow covers & cushions, to ensure all surfaces can be effectively and thoroughly cleaned between each appointment.
  • Easy clean, non-fabric chairs in our waiting area and therapy rooms.
  • Clinic rooms including plinths, desk, door handles, equipment, chairs, card machine are cleaned between each patient
  • Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities are readily available.
  • Regular and documented cleaning schedules for all communal areas, including toilets.
  • De-cluttered our clinic rooms and waiting area of unnecessary items, preventing cross contact contamination and creating sufficient space to easily keep socially distant.
  • Keeping doors between common areas open if safe and appropriate to do so, to reduce touch points

How your appointment may have changed to meet latest government guidelines

  • Please DO NOT attend your appointment if you or anyone in your household is experiencing a fever, continuous cough or cold/flu like symptoms/ if you have been in contact with anyone diagnosed (via GP or test) with Covid 19. We will be contacting you the day before your appointment to go through a few standard questions to confirm the above.
  • If you need to make any last minute changes to your appointment there is no cancellation charge for being unwell, please contact your individual therapist directly.
  • Please try to NOT arrive early for your appointment, however you be able to securely socially distance in our waiting area.
  • Please leave unnecessary items of clothing or bags in your car/at home to avoid contamination.
  •  Please avoid bringing other family members or children (apart from in a chaperone or consent requirement situation).
  •  We will ask that you wash your hands and/or sanitise before coming into the treatment room there will be hand washing facilities/ sanitiser available.
  • The therapist will be wearing appropriate, relevant PPE, depending on your type of appointment.  Please contact or see emails from your individual therapist for more details of this.
  • You WILL BE required to wear a mask or face covering upon entering and throughout the building.  If you have your own mask please bring them if not we can provide you with a disposable one if needed.
  •  There is time allocated before and after your treatment for us to disinfect and sanitise the room to the best of our ability to help ensure the safety of clients and therapists. All pillow covers and couches are wipeable.
  • Unfortunately we cannot completely remove the risk but we have put all the above procedures to minimise as much as we possibly can.

We have implemented some changes to our Pilates classes due to the current Covid 19 crisis, for more info please click here.
