What Can Osteopathy Help With?
Effective, Natural Relief for a Wide Range of Conditions Osteopathy is a safe, drug-free, and holistic therapy that supports the body’s natural ability to heal. Using hands-on techniques, osteopaths help restore movement, improve circulation, and reduce pain — addressing both the cause and the symptoms. At The Positive Health Therapy Centre, we commonly treat the following conditions:
Arthritis and joint pain
Back pain, neck pain, and sciatica
Muscle strains and soft tissue injuries
Headaches and migraines (tension-related)
Tendonitis and tendinopathy
Postural problems due to:
Pregnancy
Sports injuries
Long hours driving or desk-based work
Repetitive strain
Digestive issues (e.g. IBS, bloating)
Neuralgia and nerve-related discomfort
A Holistic, Whole-Body Approach Osteopathy treats the entire body, not just the affected area. Through manual therapy, including joint manipulation, soft tissue massage, fascia release and stretching, we work to rebalance your body systems for optimal function and well-being.
Suitable for All Ages Osteopathic care is gentle and adaptable, making it suitable for everyone — from newborn babies to older adults.
Regulated and Professional By law, all osteopaths must be registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and renew their registration annually. This includes fulfilling mandatory Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements to ensure up-to-date knowledge and high standards of patient care. Our osteopaths are also trained to identify conditions that may require medical or specialist intervention, and will refer you appropriately when necessary.
